Turn data into impact!
Join the first Humanitarian Datathon in Romania, launched by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Students and professionals are invited to support the creation of a statistical inclusion measurement tool designed to assess the inclusion of displaced populations in national data systems.
By participating, you will help ensure forcibly displaced persons are visible in the statistics that shape policies and services in Romania, while you gain hands-on experience, strengthen your analytical skills, and collaborate with professionals from UNHCR and the national statistics community.
Who can participate

- Applicants from all backgrounds and age groups are encouraged to apply.

- Individuals or teams of up to 5 members.

- Particularly suited for those with backgrounds in data science, social sciences, computer science, and related fields, as well as practitioners working with refugees and vulnerable populations.

- Working knowledge of English is required.
