Duration: short-term (1-2 months)
Approximate Start Date: June, 15, 2026

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Enumerators to support data collection activities for 2026 Socio-Economic Insights Survey (SEIS) Romania. Enumerators will be responsible for conducting surveys, as part of a data collection.The data collected will directly inform decisions, reports, and strategies for program implementation for Ukrainian refugees living in Romania.Β 

This position offers a per-survey pay structure (pay-per-completion). Payment details will be discussed with each candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct face-to-face and online surveys using structured questionnaires, respecting GDPR policy.
    Accurately record responses using digital devices, provided by the employer (e.g., tablets).
  • Ensure data quality, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Follow all data collection protocols and ethical standards.
  • Report progress to the field supervisor.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving any challenges during fieldwork.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s/Master`s degree (preferably in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, or related field).
  • Prior experience in field data collection or survey administration is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Ukrainian, Russian and English language.
  • Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (KoboToolbox) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for local, intra-city travel as required by the roleΒ 
  • Must be available full-time for the duration of the project (June-July, 2026).
  • Willingness to participate in online training and PSEA training prior to data collection.
